Father and Son - Creative Embellishments

Good morning!
Laura here today to share my next Creative Embellishments project!

This photo was taken at Tyler's graduation!
I used texture paste and the awesome Gear Stencil on the background

I covered the large gear frame with a mixture of black embossing powder and orange glitter
I used orange embossing powder and black glitter on the grunge gear corner

I added the mirror acrylic gears bronze and acrylic gears black to the distressed circle pieces to add more depth and dimension.

I love right now - Elizabeth Craft Designs!

Good morning!
I am back to share my newest layout using many ECD products!

To create this layout
Step 1 - take two papers from the Rusty Weathered paper kit.

Step 2 - cut one line approximately in the center along the bottom about 3" long and one on the side in the center about 2" long. Using your paper distressor tool or scissors distress the edges of the slits and fold back and adhere with double sided tape
Step 3 - Adhere the two pages together and distress the edges
Step 4 - fussy cut 3 flowers from one of the pages

Step 5 - create a photo mat for your photo 1/2" bigger than your photo
Step 6 - Die cut two frames using the fitted rounded rectangle die set. I used the 5 1/2" and 5 1/4" die
Step 7 - Die cut a 3 lightbulbs from the Planner Essentials 20 from coordinating papers
Step 8 - die cut 3 circles from the Stitched Circles and create 3 rolled flowers
Step 9 - create photo mat and cluster as shown above

Step 10 - Die cut 11, 1 3/4" stitched hexagons and distress the edges

Step 11 - adhere as shown

Together - Creative Embellishments and Elizabeth Craft Designs

Good morning!
I am back today to share a shabby chic beach layout I created using lots of CE & ECD goodies!

I love this photo of us in Punta Cana

For the title piece I painted it in white acrylic and allowed to dry, then painted it in blue and allowed to dry then I took a piece of aggressive sand paper (took from my hubby's shop - thanks honey) and rubbed the chipboard until I could see the white and the chipboard to achieve an aged and shabby look.
I die cut the celebration flags from coordinating paper

For the baby's breath I did the same process as the title but used pink paint!  I also die cut a stitched circle and made a rolled flower

I love this butterfly and it was the perfect accent for the page!

I trimmed the lovely lace border to fit the page and die cut a large fitted fishtale

I added some flowers, and a doily and lace to finish the page!

I am entering this page in the Challenge YOUrself July sketch challenge
and the July challenge at Tres Jolie Kit Club

Celebrate - Creative Embellishments and Elizabeth Craft Design!

Good morning!
Our son Cody has a really wicked sense of humour and it seems like his friends do to lol!

To create this layout:
Step 1 - Trim a piece of soft finish white cardstock to 11 1/4x11 1/4
Step 2 - use your watercolor palette on glossy photo paper using a mix of colours.  Spray with water to allow the colours to create a marble effect and run together - allow to air dry

Step 3 - while waiting for the photo paper to dry paint your Balloon with coordinating acrylic paint and black for the strings

Step 4 - paint your title with black acrylic paint

Step 5 - using your water color paints and a fan brush create a splatter effect down the center of your white cardstock

Step 6 - die cut many circles and two celebration flags from your coloured photo paper

Step 7 - adhere your white cardstock to a coloured cardstock
Step 8 - adhere everything together
Step 9 - add your journaling to the back of the layout

mine reads -

Cody’s 18th birthday was hilarious!!!  He and his friends have wicked senses of humour.
Each of his friends there gave him awesome gag gifts that made him laugh.  He received a squash, a Christmas bulb light up necklace, a Trolls chocolate Christmas countdown calendar, a toaster, and of course the awesome unicorn hooded blanket complete with horn and pockets!  We all laughed and had a lot of fun celebrating!
