Let It Snow - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Good morning!
I am back today to share a wintery fun layout using LOTS of ECD goodies!

To make this layout:

Step 1 - Tear a strip off one side and a smaller strip from the other side of your white soft finish cardstock and cover it with clear gesso and allow to dry or heat set
Step 2- Using one of your favorite stencils and texture paste along the side of your paper then adhere your white cardstock to a patterned paper (I used Kaisercraft)
Step 3 - Using your Watercolor Palette, use the three shades of blue and allow them to mingle together to create a subtle blend. using your pen add some of the blue water color paint to a palette, your glass mat or your craft mat. spray with water to make very runny. Using a fan brush or your favorite splatter technique add splatters to your page. Have fun with it! Heat set the paint and allow to dry thoroughly. Dry brush white acrylic paint over the raised images of your stencil!
Step 4 - add a strip of cheesecloth over the stenciled area
Step 5 - Die cut at least 6 Leaf and Berry Branches, 2 Leafy Branch, and 3 of the largest circles from the stitched circles from the white cardstock
Step 6 - create 3 rolled flowers from the die cut circles

Step 7 - adhere the double sided tape to cardstock and die cut 5 snowflakes from the Hot Chocolate set, 1 large snowflake from the Snow Flake Set, and Let It Snow from the Winter Wishes set.
Step 8 - peel the backing off the snowflakes and use the Cool Diamond silk microfine glitter, and use the faded denim silk microfine glitter on the title

Step 9 - add sequins, seed beads and micro beads randomly to your mixed media area and die cuts!

Wedding layout - Creative Embellishments

Good morning!
I am ready to share another layout for my nieces wedding album!

I began by trimming my papers and distressing the edges

I then sprayed all the doilies with green mist and colored some from with black and green mists to coordinate with my papers

I painted all the hearts with read acrylic paint

For the scroll set 2 and the dripping heart lace border I mixed red and black acrylic paint to create a more marbled effect on the chipboard

I added the title piece (also painted in red acrylic) and some seed beads in red and black t finish the layout!

I am entering this in the Paper Issues June Challenge of Something old something new

Sandy Toes.... Creative Embellishments

Good morning!
I am excited to bring you another layout created with lots of CE goodies!

I started by covering the Ciao bella paper with clear gesso, then distressed the edges.

I used light paste with Flourish Stencil 3 along the side of page

I painted the bubbles with blue paint and allowed to dry.  I then applied white paint.  Once the paint was dry I used sand paper to remove parts of the white paint to get a distressed beachy look.

I kept with the beachy look by applying the same technique using green paint to the the distressed circle border and nautical corner.

I used beige paint with the title piece.

Spread Your Wings - Creative Embellishments

Good morning!
I am back today to share a senior portrait layout I created with LOTS of CE goodies!

This handsome fellow is our youngest and somehow he got old enough to graduate high school.

To create this layout I
covered the entire 7Dots paper and chipboard with clear gesso on both sides then used my heat gun to dry it.
I then used the Crackled Brick stencil with light paste on both corners.
I heat set the paste then set to coloring the stenciled image with brusho powders in dark brown and yellow ochre and Lindys shabby turbine teal and Tim Holtz Wild Honey Distress stain.

I also colored the title piece with the Teal Spray

For the Globes I used a few layers of the distress stain

For the flourishes - I cut apart Flourish 14 because I wanted smaller pieces to stick in and colored it with the yellow ochre powder

I colored the Flourish 22 with the dark brown brusho and teal spray

I also colored some flowers to match the layout and added some beads and seed beads!
