Just Beachy & Memories - Creative Embellishments

Hi everyone!
I am back to share my next two layout using the fabulous goodies from Creative Embellishments!

Last Christmas we were lucky enough to spend it in Punta Cana with all my in laws!  We had some family photos taken and this was one of them!

I did a lot of layering of the wonderful Graphic 45 papers and stickers!

I created a few clusters of elements using lots of flowers, stickers from Graphic 45 and of course the awesome chipboard from CE!  I misted the pieces in orange and light blue including starfish and sand dollars, Beach ATC,  and seaweed 2.

I created layers with the papers, stickers, flowers and chipboard to add more visual interest

I painted the 'Just Beachy' title piece with two shades of blue to add a more beachy tone to it.

Now onto a masculine layout I created of our youngest senior portraits

For this layout I layered different pieces of chipboard.

For the leaves I started by painting them in spots with black paint then added some tainted teal.

For the Flourish Set 2 I used two shades of teal

The title I cut apart one of the time flies frames and inked and misted it.   For the rings I sparingly added black ink and also used the black ink on one of the newest stencils - damask

Beach Fun - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Good morning!
I have been scrapping a lot of beach pictures lately....I miss the beach....The beach is my happy place and when this is all over I am really looking forward to spending the day with my toes in the sand!

I love layering...papers, die cuts, elements all of it.

I began by die cutting  tag toppers from Planner Essentials 26 for the base.

I then added the bubbles die

I also die cut a starfish and  little tags from the planner Essential 21.
As well as stickers from the collection and some flowers from my stash.

I made a frame die using the rounded square die.

I love the little fishy

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Watercolor Beach layout - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Good morning!

Last year we were in Punta Cana and had family photos taken on the beach...I love scrapbooking these photos!

For this layout I  used Kaiercrafts Uncharted Water collection.

I covered the base paper with  clear gesso then added the Dot Dot Dot stencil with texture paste.  After I heat set the texture paste I colored it with veridian from the Watercolor palette.

I  used the rounded stitched square die to create frames to add more visual interest

I die cut shells and flowers then used brown ink to highlight them.

For the rolled flowers I used the largest stitched circle the created my rolled flower.

The light house is one of my new favorites.  I also die cut some smaller flowers as well.

The anchor is part of the sea weed die set!
To add more visual interest I created pearls using the fabulous white craft drops and added some cheesecloth.

Thanks for stopping by!

Mixed Media Beach layout - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Good morning!  I am back share a beach layout I created using the new stencils and watercolor paints!

To Create this layout;

Step 1: Cover your white soft finish cardstock with clear gesso on both front and back to help stop warping allow to dry or heat set with your heat gun.
Step 2: Use your Spring Flower Mandala stencil on the left side of your paper and a few of the leaves in the upper right corner of your sheet and your Dot Dot Dot stencil with texture paste along the middle. Heat set or allow to dry.

Step 3: Using the Prussian Blue from the watercolor palette cover the stencil areas and around the stenciled areas. Apply as many layers as you want to achieve your desired look. I went over it three times heat setting in between layers.
Step 4: Using the turquoise blue from the same palette apply to the outside of the darker blue area and along the left hand side of the page.

Step 5: Die cut many flowers using your favorite ECD flowers dies using coffee filters. I used the small flower set, large flower set, and bunch of flowers. Color them using the same blues from the palette.
Step 7: Using foam dots or cardboard to add dimension add your matted photo.
Step 7: Add your flowers, shells, sequins beads and art stones.

Step 7: Add your title piece.
Step 8: Cover only your photo with a piece of paper. Using watered down white gesso, paint or white mist create splatters.

I hope you have enjoyed my mixed media layout and thank you for stopping by

Perfect - Creative Embellishments

Hi everyone!
I am going to share another project using the awesome products from Creative Embellishments

I normally shy away from very bright colors but I was in the mood for some color!

I had so much fun using the awesome stencils from CE!

I started by applying yellow ochre brush powder on  piece of packaging the applied it to the center

After I heat set the yellow I used the multi hexagon stencil with tim holtz blue distress oxide ink.
I then used the ledger stencil with black ink

and then I applied apple green dazzlers shimmer paint with the Starbust stencil.  I also used a black pen to outline the stencil

I inked the distressed circle pieces in black, the distressed punchinella pieces in the blue and then painted the 'perfect' with bright green paint

I also inked the punchinella pieces and the circle background in black to add contrast
