Good morning everyone!
back today to share a very masculine layout I created for collaboration with Creative Embellishments and Rinea and also using Elizabeth Craft Designs products!
Here is how I created this layout:
Step 1: ink a 12x12 sheet of paper (I used Kaisercraft Factory 42)
Step 2: Die cut 14 circles of varying sizes using coordinating paper and the Rinea foil paper (I used Earth Tones) and the Stitched circles then ink the edges
Step 3: Die cut your photo into a circle and die cut one size larger for a photo mat
Step 4: Gather your chipboard pieces and alter them (instructions are included at bottom of post)
Step 5: die cut 3 fishtails
Step 6: trim the title out and ink the edges
Step 7: assemble
To alter the chipboard:
Step 1: gather all your chipboard - I used Large Gear Frames, Gear 1 1/2", mini gears 3/4" and Car Part Set
Step 2: ink all chipboard in black
Step 3: mix together your embossing powder with silk microfine glitter
I used a ratio of about 3 parts embossing powder to one of each glitter
For the black I used ranger super fine black embossing powder, basic black, Copper, and Rust glitters.
For the coppery pieces I used Imagine Ink Chili embossing powder mixed with Fire Opal, chocolate, and Copper.
Step 4: apply another coat of black ink and while wet apply your mixture of embossing powder and glitters. If you are using large pieces (like the gear frames) you will have to work in sections
Step 5: heat set using your heat gun the attach to your layout
