This Is Love - White Rose Crafts

Good morning!
Back today to share with you another layout I created for White Rose Crafts LLC!

My beautiful niece is getting married next year and I am creating a wedding scrapbook for her and her soon to be hubby!

For this layout I chose the beautiful 'Always Together' paper pack from Craft O'clock and the September sketch

I know the sketch was created for cards but I like a challenge and created a layout!

I layered the papers over a doily from a stash

Some of the flowers are from my stash but those really pretty lilies are from White Rose and I made the rosettes using the strips of paper I cut from the bottom of the sheets of paper

The white rose is also available at White Rose (coincidence???)

The chipboard from Creative Embellishments is also available at White Rose!  I wanted to keep it simple so I painted all the chipboard with a Faber Castell gelato then used a wet paintbrush.

I hope you enjoyed my September projects!
See you next month!

You, Me and the Sea - White Rose Crafts

Good morning!
I am back with my second project for my guest design spot with the wonderful White Rose Crafts!

I am also continuing to use the awesome Graphic 45 Sunkissed Collection (which is on sale BTW at White Rose)

I took this photo of my hubby and youngest while they were skipping stones one day at the beach....

I used a die I have for the banner and used some glitter to highlight it.  In the collection kit is a pack of stickers that I used on each side of the banner.  I like dimension so I used pop dots to add a little height.

I also used some shells I had bought at our local dollar store.

I made the rosettes from some of the scraps after I created the layout and then used the sticker buttons as toppers.

You are Adorable - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Good morning!
I am happy to show you a layout I created for Els of her grandson –– he is adorable!

To create this layout:
I used various papers: ModaScrap's Wood Effect Paper for the background and Blue Cotton Candy for the accent pieces and title piece.

Step 1 - Using your accent papers Die cut - 2 stitched circles - your choice of size and cut one in half, a stitched fishtail with accent paper  and one using the card paper of the blue cotton candy to create your title, kaleidoscope background, the tag part of the planner essentials 11, the largest die in Planner Essentials 8, the heart from Love Struck, a border from Valentines Edges,  the circle and tree from the Love Life Tag  and two stitched rectangles.

Step 2 - apply a double sided adhesive sheet to a piece of Soft Finish cardstock and die cut the following - 2 edges from the Valentines Edges, a circle from the Love Life Tag, and a banner set from the celebration flags.  Peel off one backing and apply midnight blue silk microfine glitter from the Beach Palette set. Rub the pieces with your fingers to bring out the sparkle

Step 3 - Assemble as shown

Live in The Moment - Creative Embellishments!

Good morning!

I love this color combo of browns and teals!  I misted the doilies from my stash with coordinating colors.

For the Stars in My Universe frame, I inked it a light teal then added some silk microfine glitter from Elizabeth Craft Designs glitter!

I then painted the Stitched Border, I painted it in a darker teal to add more contrast

I also inked and glittered the dragonfly.

I heat embossed part of the title piece, then painted the other part with dark teal paint like the stitched border.

I am entering this in the Scrap The Boys September Challenge of adding flowers to boys pages!

Sunkissed - White Rose Crafts

Good morning!
I am excited and thrilled to be gust designing for White Rose Crafts this month!

The first project I am going to share is made using the fabulous

I absolutely love the colors in this collection and seeing how the beach is my happy place it was perfect!

I fussy cut the flower image with the title, turtles, sand dollars and starfish from some of the papers.  I also lightly misted a doily I had in my stash orange to highlight the photo of our youngest!

I love dimension so for the turtles, starfish and sand dollars I used my large ball stylus to 'puff' parts of the animals!

Grad - Creative Embellishments

Good morning!
I am happy to share my next layout using the awesome chippies from Creative Embellishments

I started by tearing and layering the 7 Dots papers (its Christmas paper lol) I then added three strings of hemp and double matted my photo.

I usually cover my chipboard with some clear gesso but
for the gears, I did not want them as a solid color, I wanted more of a wash.  So I opted to paint the chippies with a mist alone.

I painted on red Dylusions mist on the washi tape clusters and Washi tape shape clusters, then a bit of dark grey mist.

I did want the title and the steampunk clock to be solid so I inked and embossed them in black.
I altered the title piece because I only want the title grad - so I simply cut of the rest of the word!
