A Fun Day at the Park - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Good morning!  I am back today to share with you a fun layout I created for Elizabeth Craft Designs

Step one: Trim top sheet of paper to 11 1/2 x 11 1/2 and ink the edge of the bottom and top papers

Step 2: Using the Stitched circles die set cut 1 circle at 3 1/4", 2 circles at 1 3/4", 2 circles at 3", 1 circle at 2 3/4" and one at 2 1/4 out of coordinating paper.

Step 3: Using the Stitched Circles die cut silhouettes using black cardstock of all of the circles cut in step 2 and keep the inner circles as well. Adhere the silhouettes onto the circles.

Step 4: Following the tutorial I have previously done for the pinwheels (found here ) using the 1 3/4" square from the dashing square die set cut and 3 using the 1 1/4" square create 4 pinwheels.

Step 5: Adhere everything together and add a title
Here are some details:

I am entering this in the CSI Challenge for case #279.  I was inspired by the colors, the happy feel of the file, the use of black, and the cursive font!

Proud Of You - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Good morning!
I can not believe our youngest is graduating this year!  Where did the time go?  He has become a wonderful and caring young man.

I created this layout for Elizabeth Craft Designs and a few fun challenges.  One for Paper issues where the challenge was to do background work (stamping and stencil) and one for CSI for one of their inspiration challenges - Case File No. 278!   I was inspired by the colors and the globe on the image

So to create this layout I started by die cutting various sizes of rectangles using the Stitched rectangle die from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  I then die cut a bunch of flowers from the leftover papers from the rectangles using the large flower set, small flower set, and bunch of flowers 3.

I layered everything and then using a pencil I lightly drew where all my papers would be.   Since I had an outline of the papers I knew where to stamp using the Circles Background stamp from ECD and where I wanted my stencil.

For the purple paste, I took my purple Faber-Castell gelato and scribbled it on my glass mat.  I touched it with a bit of water from a paintbrush then added some sand texture gel.  I added more purple gelato until I achieved the color I wanted.

And finally, for the globe and title piece from Creative Embellishments I colored it with my purple gelato, then with a wet finger I rubbed it around the chipboard until I was happy with the look.  I added some liquid glue and then purple beads!
I added a few die cuts from the wonderful 7 Dots Studios Garden Party paper line to finish the layout!

Easter Time - Elizabeth Craft Designs!

Good morning!
Easter is fast approaching and it is almost time to celebrate again!

Today I am sharing a sweet layout I created for Elizabeth Craft Designs.  I used their wonderful dies, and Maja papers for this one!

I began by trimming my top sheet of paper to 11 1/2x 11 1/2 and inked the out side edges with white ink.
I then die cut 30 stitched hexagons using the 2 1/2" and 1" dies using coordinating papers.

I created the flowers using Bunch of Flowers 3large flower set and Small Flower Set.  I used the Trio of leaves die set and the Susan's tool set to shape the leaves and flowers.  I then stamped the patchwork bee and die cut it using the coordinating die set.

 Isn't that bunny adorable!

I used the Color My Easter Eggs die set with coordinating paper and the white soft finish card stock for the title (the Words 3 and Words 5) as well.
