Groom - Creative Embellishments

 Good morning!

My niece's wedding is coming up quick and I am still making pages for her album, but I love making them!
A few weeks ago I shared a layout titled bride...this is the coordinating page for 'Groom'

I made this one a little more masculine with earth tone colors.

I used the Full Of Love Stencil with texture paste then colored with mists

I used a brown distress crayon on the Steampunk Heart 3, bubble panel, and hearts.

For the Flourish 19 and the intricate heart border I used on olive green distress crayon.

I colored some flowers with mists and added some seed beads to finish the layout

Sneak Attack - ELizabeth Craft Designs

Good morning everyone!

Our family loves to go sledding in the winter - it is a great family outing! I found these photos of my husband doing a sneak attack on our son Cody and thought they were too funny to not scrapbook!

To create this layout:
Step 1 - distress the edges of your background paper (I used Mystical Winter paper)
Step 2 - mat your photos and distress the edges of photo mat. Adhere using cardboard or 3d adhesive

Step 3 - add a chipboard or paper border
Step 4 - die cut 23 fitted hexagons then ink and distress the edges and adhere to paper

Step 5 - Die cut, ink, shape and assemble 9 flowers using your favorite ECD dies (I used florals 6, florals 8, florals 1, florals 3, and florals 4, and I used the Stamen Flowers as snowflakes!

Step 6 - Add your title, embellishments, and snowflake paste

Carpe Diem - Creative Embellishments

 Good morning!

I love making grungy masculine mixed media layouts so it was lots of fun making this one of Ty's graduation

I covered all the Kaisercraft papers with clear gesso.

I used the circle lattice stencil with texture paste then colored with Elizabeth Craft Designs watercolor paints then used brown ink to grunge it up a bit

I wet the edges of the strip of paper after I distressed them and rolled the edge.  I adhered it to cardboard to add more dimension

I painted the all the chipboard pieces with the watercolor paints including the distressed grid pieces, large nested rectangles, mesh pieces, and blueberries.

I did some drawing using markers and then added art stones and seed beads to the layout and flowers

I am entering this in the March More Than Words Challenge

Play!

Good morning!

I had fun creating this fun and playful layout using LOTS of CE chipboard!

I started by covering my papers with clear gesso

I then used the Starburst stencil with texture paste then used brusho and Lindy's powders to color

I painted the Word License Plate in white then also covered with colorants

I painted the Tag Set 1, Lacy Border and Stitched Border black then added a bit of colorant for visual interest
