Love - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Good morning!
I am back today to share another wedding layout I created for my beautiful nieces upcoming wedding!

To create this layout:
Step 1 - distress the edges of a 12x12 sheet of paper
Step 2 - trim one sheet of paper to 11.5 x 11.5 and distress the edges then adhere it t o the 12x12 sheet
Step 3 - trim a sheet of coordinating paper to 5x12 and cover both sides with clear gesso and allow to dry.
Step 4 - using the Make Your Mark Stencil - using the heart part of the stencil and texture paste - stencil it at the top of the 5x12 sheet of paper
Step 5 - using Fire Opal silk microfine glitter and black embossing powder and sprinkle both on the texture paste. Remove excess then heat set with your heat gun - repeat at the bottom of this page.

Step 6 - distress the edges then adhere to the previous pages in the center
Step 7 - die cut 2 large 1/2 hearts (making sure you have one die cut opposite to the first one so you can put them together to make one large heart) using the Planner Essentials 20 set
Step 8 - die cut two of the smaller size hearts also making sure to die cut one inverted so you can make one heart) from the same set. Distress the edges of all four pieces
Step 9 - adhere smaller heart to larger heart making sure to line up the holes.
Step 10 - using coordinating ribbon, lace the holes at the top (if you are using a smaller then 6x4 photo or if your photo is vertical rather then horizontal repeat this step at the bottom of the heart)
Step 11 - adhere the hearts to page then create a bow and adhere to the top of where you laced
Step 12 - cut a double photo mat for your photo and adhere

Step 12 - Die cut the title also from the planner essentials 20
Step 13 - die cut and assemble 5 flowers using your favorite ECD flower dies. Dip each petal in a little bit of glue then in the Fire Opal glitter. If desired add a pearl to the center of each flower.
Step 14 - Die cut two of heart Blooming Branches and using the red craft drops dot the flowers and hearts
Step 15 - adhere all those pieces

Step 16 - Die cut the a large and small heart dangel from the Planner Essential 25. Die cut it again if you did not use double sided paper so the heart is of different paper.

Step 17 - add gold Craft Drops, and beads around the layout

Sun & Sand - Creative Embellishments

Good morning!
I am back today to share another fun beachy layout with lots of CE goodies!

I did LOTS of fussy cutting and layering with the wonderful CE chipboard & By The Sea Flair!

I wanted the chipboard to have shine and shimmer so I painted the starfish, and SeaShells, with Prima Acrylic paint

I really wanted a seahorse and I forgot to reorder on them when I used my last one so I cut up a Sea Artist trading coins and it worked out perfectly

I painted the title piece to match the other chipboard pieces!

I added some cheesecloth, sequins, beads and sequins to finish the layout!

I am also entering this is the #G45layout contest, and the paper issues fussy cutting challenge

Love Being a Mom - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Good morning!
When I was in kindergarten my teacher asked me  what I wanted to be when I grew up, I replied 'A mom'  That's all I really ever wanted to be.

My boys mean the absolute world to me!

I started by covering both sides of my paper with clear gesso.

I stamped the images from the Words & Layers stamp set with white ink.

I then used the Make Your Mark stencil with texture paste that I mixed with brown brusho powder

I used Turquoise blue from the watercolor palette to cover the stenciled images and when it rain into the white it created a really cool messy overlay image.

The really cool epoxy piece my husband created for me using a mold.  I then covered it with the turquoise blue and Prussian blue from the watercolor set

I die cut 3 tags using the Planner Essential 26 set the layered them using cardboard to add height and dimension.
I also die cut two flowers from the Planner Essentials 25 using Rinea foil paper

I stamped the words from the Word & Layers stamp as my title

I die cut the Mandala also from foil paper.
I wanted the flowers to match my colors so I used the watercolor paints on my flowers.

I added some beads, art stones and sequins to finish my project.

I used the Christmas bulbs also from Creative Embellishments and painted it black then took some double sided tape and cut it the size of the bulb and added silk micro fine glitter
I die cut some poinsettias and used glitter as the center

I took the JOY shaker and painted it black, then added some crackle medium.  Once the medium was dry I added red paint.  I filled the shaker with sequins and art stones.

Moments - Creative Embellishments

Good morning!
I thought I would take a break from the beach pictures and scrapbook something else....

I started by covering both sides of my paper and the chipboard with clear Gesso since I knew I was going to be stenciling and using liquid colorants

I then used the Clock Stencil with texture paste.
I heat set the images with my heat gun then used dark brown brusho powder, teal mist and magicals copper powder to cover the images

I used the clock face as a frame

I colored all the chipboard pieces with the teal mist, brown gesso and prima copper paint.  I also colored all the flowers because they were very bright.  I used flourish 12, Shape ATC coins, Steampunk trading coin, Grunge gear corner, distressed punchinella, and lots of different gears

For title piece I  painted it copper, sprayed with the mists and while it was still damp I bent it around the ATC!
