Christmas card! Elizabeth Craft Designs

Good morning!
Christmas is only 55 days away!
Have you finished your Christmas / Holiday cards yet?
Yeah me neither! lol!
But I do have done more done that I want to share with you!

A lot of my cards are too bulky to mail but this one I can send!

I used the snowflake border die the Ornate Snow Flake die and the  Christmas Classic Sentiments stamp

I die cut the snowflake using the double sided adhesive sheets so I could add the fabulous cool diamond glitter but its so hard to catch the sparkle.

Good morning!
Although the colours in this months kit are fabulous for all your fall photos there is also beautiful pink papers!
As scrapbookers and parents we are often the ones behind the camera and not very often do we step out in front unless it is a family photo!  We need to be in the photos more often....

I began by tearing then layering the beautiful pink papers then I added some lace from my stash

to add a bit of colour I added some of the teal paper and a few teal flowers!

I created clusters using the flowers from the kit and add ons and some from my stash

Good morning!
The gorgeous chipboard from Southern Ridge trading company and the fabulous kit from Scrapshotz go great together!

I started by layering the fabulous Pink Paislee papers and chose the wonderful color scheme to carry on to the awesome Southern ridge chipboard!

I embossed the eye catching flourish in black then added some teal liquid pearls to accent the swoops!

It looks awesome against the grey and teal papers from Pink Pailsee

Elizabeth Crafts Designer Challenge

Good morning!
Christmas is coming and I am excited - I love the holidays!
This months designer challenge at Elizabeth Craft Designs was to use one of the new Krista Schneider's new sets!

I chose her new Poinsettia stamp and die set!
I stamp the pretty image on vellum twice and embossed with white embossing powder.  I used the die to cut the image of the poinsettia and berry and then trimmed one poinsettia and layered.  I also used the wonderful new snowflake stamp and die for accent

I painted a piece of Creative Embellishments chipboard grey to match the card.

If you would like a chance to win a gift certificate visit the ECD blog here and answer this question

Which of the new Krista Schneider stamp sets would you use to create a Christmas card.

Spooky Halloween - Southern Ridge Trading Company

Good morning!
I am excited to bring you my first layout for

With Halloween right around the corner I wanted to showcase their wonderful Halloween designs!

The creepy looking guy is our oldest a couple of years ago.....

I started by layering my papers and distressing the edges, then I misted some doilies and cheese cloth

I heat embossed the corner web then used the same green mist I used on the cheesecloth on the spider from the Happy Halloween card, then added some lime green crushed glitter glass to its body and inked its legs

For the title piece I embossed the spider web then painted on the same green mist on the 'happy halloween' painted the jack-o-lantern and  the ghost.  I added more crushed glitter glass and inked it all to add a eerie feel.

The bat is also from the happy halloween card and was the perfect accent for over the photo

I added ribbon, flowers, metal Halloween pieces, flowers and a banner to finish off my layout!

Santa and his sleigh - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Good morning!
I am excited to share this card with you today!

To create this card:
step 1 - using the White Soft Finish Cardstock 85 lb create a 5x7 card
step 2 - Die cut the Garden Notes Frame It Stitched Oval to the center of the card front. This will create your window.
step 3 - Cut a piece of patterned paper at 4 3/4 x 6 3/4 Die cut the Garden Notes Frame It Stitched Oval to the center of the patterned paper piece one size bigger than the oval you used on the card.
step 4 - Using your Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape adhere a piece of ribbon to the side of the patterned paper like in the photo and fold over the edge
step 5 - Adhere the patterned paper to the card front
step 6 - Cut another piece of coordinating paper at 4 3/4 x 6 3/4 and adhere to the inside of your card
step 7 - Die cut your Santa with various pieces of cardstock. I die cut the fluffy parts of his suit, beard and hat using the Clear Double Sided Adhesive on the 85lb soft finish cardstock then used some sparkly fluff. Adhere your Santa and adhere to the front of your
card

Step 8 - Die cut Santa's sleigh 3 times using three different cardstock (I used the ModaScrap wood paper, gold and red cardstock) and adhere to inside of the card using foam tape
Step 9 - Die cut 'Merry Christmas from coordinating cardstock and adhere above sleigh
