More from the Scraps Of Darkness kit - 'Beloved'

Good morning everyone!
I hope everyone is enjoying their Friday morning!

I am really enjoying working with the Scraps Of Darkness
Beloved kit...

I scrapbook mostly my boys so its been fun to scrapbook a few layouts about my hubby and I....

I used the Bo Bunny Love and Lace papers from the Coordinated Paper Add On  and
I just flipped it!

I layered the die cuts from the Elements Add on and a tag for the title.  I inked all of the die cuts with black ink from a previous kit.  I also added some of the Bo Bunny tuxedo gems from the main kit

I wanted more of a dark black doily so I sprayed it with a black mist from a previous kit. I layered a lot of tags and die cuts under my photo from the Bo Bunny Love Lace Noteworthy Die Cuts and I added some of the awesome Bo Bunny Foil Rub On - these things are so cool - all from the Elements Add On.

In the main kit is a wonderful Stencil from The Crafters Workshop
'Complicated Hearts'.  I used some black modeling paste and black crushed glitter glass - both from previous kits.  Here you can also see some of the layers under the photo.

I also scattered some of the Bo Bunny gems and foil transfers around the  layout

First layout using the 'Beloved' kit

Hi everyone!
I am in love with the new Scraps Of Darkness kit 'Beloved' - perfect for all the projects that celebrate LOVE!

Here is my first one!

I love this photo of my hubby & I!

Layering Graphic 45 papers is so fun - everything coordinates and goes together so well!
I had some lace in my stash that I sprayed with the Ranger Hickory Smoke Distress Stain from the color add on

I used flowers from the main kit and the floral add on and a few from my stash and I bought the red ones from the store here

That heart doily is really wonderful - I sprayed it twice with the ranger spray because I wanted it dark, then I layered the Graphic 45 chipboard from the elements add on.  I then added one of the wooden hearts from the main kit that I embossed with the Ranger Rose Quartz embossing powder from the color add on and Lindy's embossing powder from an earlier kit, then inked the outside with black ink.

Winter layout....

Hi everyone!
I still had some of the awesome things left from the Scraps Of Darkness 'Wilma's Winter Wishes' kit and created another layout!
Being from Canada we usually have some awesome winters perfect for taking photos of our boys having some snowy fun!

For this layout I used the January Bo Bunny Sketch

Cody & Ty were building snowmen and Ty got tired and decided it was time to take a break!

I used the Bo Bunny Sleigh ride papers which were perfect for this photo!

I created a flower cluster using flowers from the floral add on as well as some from previous kits, the Bo Bunny layered chipboard tree, and Bo Bunny snowflakes - all from the kit and add ons.

To coordinate everything in my cluster I used some home made snow - a mixture of modeling paste, gesso and mica powder then while still wet I added some fine glitter.

The tree was so cute before but I love how the snow accents it.

I added some random Zva Creative gems elements add on.

and I added some more snow to the Bo Bunny title.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

After the Holidays....

Hi everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season!
It is finally back to life as normal here - well as normal as our life gets lol!  We still need to take down the decorations which we are starting to do tonight, but Ithought I would share a couple of my new projects that I created with the Scraps Of Darkness kit

My first project is of Cody a couple years ago.
The boys were out building snow men with their dad when I snapped a few photos.  Cody has a wicked sense of humor and thought that his snowman could 'use a cold one' lol

I used the Bo Bunny white out papers that were in the kit.  I love the sparkle they add!

I made 'snow' my mixing molding paste, gesso and the Opal Gold mica powder from the Scraps Of Elegance color add on.  I 'painted' the snow on the flowers to tone down the color a bit but added just a touch of glitter to make them shimmer a little more.

In the elements add on were the BO Bunny cardstock stickers
I cut apart the large snowflake and used it in two different places on my layout.  I also accented the snowflake with the soft blue ZVA creative self adhesive crystals - also from the elements add on.
I fussy cut a strip of 'tickets' from one of the papers.

My next project is another Christmas card!

I punched the bottom of the card and created a poinsettia, used a BoBunny brad and added more snow!  So wintery!
