More Christmas cards!

Good morning everyone!
Today I am going to share a couple more Christmas cards
I made using the Scraps Of Darkness December kit
'Wilma's Winter Wishes'

This was a fun and sparkly card to make!
I created the card using a piece of the Ocean side cardstock from the cardstock add on for the base.
I then added a few layers of the kit paper and I die cut a few wintery flourishes using the Wild Rose 'Icey Wind' die from the Elements Add On

I added some other elements including Zva gems from the Elements Add On and a piece of BoBunny layered chipboard from the main kit.  I also added some of the awesome Prima midnight blue glass glitter from the elements add on

I also created a masculine Christmas card for a friend of ours...

I cut out one of the images from the Bo Bunny paper then added the die cuts and a simple but sweet card!

A couple of Christmas cards!

Good morning everyone!
Today I have a few cards I would like share that I created using the Scraps of Darkness December kit

I used the Cafe Ole cardstock from the cardstock add on
to create the layers along with the Bo Bunny White Out papers from the main kit and patterned paper add on!
The beautiful glittered paper add a lot of sparkle - perfect for my card!

I used the Tim Holtz tattered poinsettia die to create my flower that I highlighted with Prima midnight blue glass glitter and used a Bo Bunny Brad for the center, both from the elements add on

My second card I think is my favorite....
I LOVE the glittery paper....
Using a pattern I had I created the shape of the card.

I die cut three poinsettia's and used the tree stamp from the October kit.  To create the snow I used I mixed gesso, molding paste and the mica powder from the Scraps Of Elegance December color add on
I misted a doily with Lindy's mist from a previous kit.

I also used the Bo Bunny brads from the elements add on for centers on my poinsettias.

I outlined the card with perfect pearls - also from a previous kit
and punched a few snowflakes.

First layout using the Scraps Of Darkness December kit

Good afternoon!
I am so happy to share my first layout I did using the Scraps Of Darkness December kit

I love this kit - it is chock full of Bo Bunny wintery papers!

So this is our Tyler, 2 years ago.  He loves to play in the snow!
The Bo Bunny Sleigh Ride papers were perfect to capture this frosty moment!

I sprayed some of the flowers from floral add on with Lindy's mists from previous kits
I made some snow by mixing modeling paste, gesso and the wonderful Prima Finnabair Art Ingredients Mica Powder in Opal Gold from the Scraps Of Elegance Color add on.  This stuff is awesome!  Added the perfect winter touch to my layout.  I also used a sticker for my title from the Bo Bunny stickers from the main kit!

more fall fun with Scraps Of Darkness and BoBunny

Hi everyone!
Today I have a fun layout I did using the November Scraps Of Darkness Kit 'Amy's Amazing Autumn'

For this layout celebrating fall I used the wonderful BoBunny November sketch

I love this photo of Cody jumping in.  They worked for hours trying to get a big enough leaf pile lol!

I used the banner from the chipboard stickers that is in the elements add on

I fussy cut some leaves from a couple of the papers, stamped a few using the BoBunny stamps from the main kit
and the embossing powder from a previous kit, and added a few of the Petaloo leaves for texture from the Floral Add On

I fussy cut a bunch of butterflies from one of the BoBunny papers and inked the edges of them along with the leaves using the Tim Holtz Ground Espresso Distress Ink from the Color Add On

Here you can see the dimension the butterflies add!

Fall fun with the November Scraps of Darkness kit

Good afternoon!
I am middle of a deep clean getting ready for a birthday party on the weekend!
I am washing walls, cleaning furniture, washing floors...all the fun stuff!
BUT....
I wanted to share my layout I created using the newest November kit from Scraps Of Darkness

Those little cuties are are our boys a few years ago....
I was lucky to capture this moment of sheer joy - they were so happy just playing in the leaves...just being boys ...just being brothers enjoying the leaf pile!
I used the Bo Bunny Enchanted Harvest Papers for this one because the beautiful rich colors were perfect for the photo! I also used the Hemptique Crafter's Hemp Cord around the side of my photo and then let the ends fall like they were blown by the same wind that blew the leaves off the trees.

I used the cardstock sticker from the  main kit and I fussy cut one of the butterflies from a BO Bunny paper

I did a lot of fussy cutting of leaves from the paper 'foliage'
I cut out each one, inked the edges with the 'ground espresso' distress ink from the color add on, then added the distress glitter from a previous kit and the chartreuse iced enamels I bought from the SOD store...I also embossed a few with Lindy's embossing powders from previous kits

I tucked in a few of the Petaloo red botanica velvet hydrangeas

I bent a few up to show dimension and show off their beauty!

I love how it looks like a big leaf pile.

In the elements add on there is these beautiful Prima resin leaves that I had a lot of fun with.  I used the Cinnamon Brown Silks pain on the leaves in spots...while still wet I then sprayed it with the 'carves pumpkin' distress spray stain - both from the color add on. I heat set, then added some of the distress glitter and some crackle medium to get the look I wanted.

Final October projects

Good morning!

I finished my final two projects from the Scraps Of Darkness October kit!

I am really happy how they came out!

I had this wood coffin in my stash so I altered it with many of the elements from the kit

First I painted it black, then covered it with crackle medium and added some of the black glitter glass from the kit

when everything was dry I splattered the white Lindy's mist over top

The headstone is from last years Halloween kit.  I covered it in a thick layer of crackle medium then mated it with grey cardstock and of course inked the edges

The flower is a Marion Smith vine from the floral add on that I misted with the Lindy's Jazzy Jivin purple mist from this months color add on and the Dylusions squeezed orange from a previous kit.

I added the lace from elements add on and the spiders I had in my stash

I sprayed some cheesecloth with mists and added a plastic sketeton

and added a flower to his lapel or what would have been his lapel! lol!

My final project features a photo f Ty when he was little - he can pose for the camera!

On this one I used the Echo Park papers!

I cut one of the title out of one of the papers!

Yes I know its a boy page and Halloween but I love flowers!

I used glossy accents to adhered some of the black glass glitter then over it so none would fall off to the blue fern chipboard apothecary bottles and a sticker 'potion' from last years kit.
I also misted some cheesecloth for texture!

It's the spookiest time of year!

Good afternoon everyone!

I am excited to share my next layout using the Octobers
Scraps Of Darkness kit 'Danse Macabre'

our two boys always loved Halloween and dressing in scary costumes!

I loved working with the Authentique Moonlit papers!  so fun!

I used flowers from the floral add on, some from previous kits and some I bought at the SOD store!

The feather is from the a previous SOD kit!

I added the Stampendous Black Crushed Glass Glitter from the elements add on to various flowers, the Prima metal embellishments (also from EAO) and the feather!

I LOVE the Pewter May Arts Crocheted Thread Ribbon....it is really cool!

In the main kit we received Tim Holtz Idea-ology Boneyard Resin Skulls and I could not resist sticking one in in the flower!

I inked some bats that were in last years Halloween kit from UmWow studios

The Blue Fern Studios Chipboard Ironwork Edge is really fabulous!
I trimmed the end off because I wanted to use the Prima light from last months kit.
I then inked it, then embossed it with the Stampendous Embossing Enamel in Aged Black.
I also added some more of the glitter glass.

Thanks for stopping by!

First layout with the October SOD kit!

I LOVE Halloween!
I have some decorations up - a graveyard, a few ghosts and spiders, body parts strewn around, and some floating heads!
Its fun!!!

Last year was Ty's last year of trick or treating....he is getting too old now so I will have lots of fun scrapbooking these memories!

This is Ty (the Killer Clown) and his best friend Sam (Einstein) last year.

I used the Graphic 45 Rare Oddities papers and sis some water distressing.
I also used a stencil and some molding paste, sprayed with the three mists from the color add on and main kit - Jazzy Jivin Purple, Go Greased Lightnin', and Sidewalk Chalk

the flowers are from the floral add on that I splattered with the three mists!
I added one of the G45 chipboard pieces for their names & date

I used a title piece from last years Halloween kit that I splattered with the Sidewalk Chalk mist.

I had a lot of fun with the Blue Fern Studios Chipboard Ironwork Edge from the Elements add on
I inked it first with Tim Holtz forest moss distress ink from a previous kit, then I used my embossing pad randomly in spots and added the Olive Stampendous Vintage Embossing Tinsel from the color add on and heat set it.  I then used the embossing pad randomly again and used the Aged Black
Stampendous Embossing Enamel.  I think it looks cool!

The stamp is too cute!  The 'little frog' is from the main kit and i used the embossing tinsel on it!
