the rhinestone frame really draws your attention to my handsome boys photo!

and the Luke flourish is the perfect accent!

Scraps Of Darkness!

Here are my two creations.....

This first one is of our oldest.....

whenis is older he is going to drive the girls nuts with his blond curls
and good looks!  that and he has a big heart!!!

I cascaded the flowers from the kit that I sprayed with the mist from the color add on,
added a little gesso and rubbed with the inka gold in blue from the kit...I added the butterflies, a few flowers from my stash, the rope is from a previous kit and some die cut leaves

I tore a little paper and added one of the Glitz Designs giant rhinestones and sprayed the color resist frame and also rubbed it with inka gold and gesso

My next layout is of my beautiful grandaughter

I clustered the floral add on flowers (with a few from my stash)
I misted some cheese cloth with the mists from the color add on and also the color wash tag!

I used the stencil from last months kit and some gesso and tucked in one of the frames

more clustering!

SOD, FWAB & SOUS

Another project I got to combine my favorite kit club ever, my favorite bling manufacturer and my favorite sketchsite!

I used my "Gothic" kit from scraps of darkness to scrap about the boys carving
jack-o-laterns last year!

I used the Bella rhinestone in black to make the skull that I sprayed with the mist from the color add on isn't it creepy?

and I used the mist from the color add on to spray the cheese cloth and add a few pearls from the adhesive pearl pack in mango!

I added some of the pearls to the banner from the sticker sheet!

and of course here is this weeks FABULOUS sketch!
love multi photos sketches!

Another SOD layout and SOUS!

I am having so much fun with this kit!

This weeks sketch at SOUS was perfect for the vision I had of my oldest son last year on Halloween!

Cody looked so creepy last year.......

I fussy cutted along the MME papers for the border!

I sprayed the flowers from my stash with the Lindy's mists from the color add on!
and added the flourishes from the kit!

I tucked the tags in behind!

I folded the bat wings to look like it was flying!

Added the title and tucked in the mirrors!

Here is this weeks awesome sketch!

A FWAB share

I LOVE this time of year! The nights are crisp, the leaves are turning beautiful colors, warm apple cider and the photo ops when the kids rake a pile of leaves to jump in! On this layout I used the Luke flourish in Teal, the teal adhesive pearls and Taylah’s Toadstools

I used some texture paint and my brick stencil then sprayed with some mists....

Do you see the toadstools!  I loved the shape but the color did not go with my vision so I covered them with gesso then sprayed them and finally added the teal pearls!

I did cut the Luke flourish a bit so I could use it around the layout!
for added fun I placed the title around the curve of the flourish!

I added the piece of cut flourish and the pearl to the center of a metal flower

I love Halloween and this months kit is
SPOOKTACULAR!!!

From the sketch I created

I fussy cutted the skull, the bats and the 31

don't the paint drips look eerie????

I bent the wings of the bats to look like they were flying!

I also added the flourish under the skull.....

Here is the sketch!

anyone can enter - you do not have to be a kit subscriber to play along!

The next thing I created was this super fun witch hat!

I used lots of the flowers from the kit and the previous kit and a few from my stash!

Like my little skeleton?

The feathers from the kit were awesome!

I added some spider webs for some more creepiness!

my third project I wanted to show that this kit can be more than Halloween!

I used the Lindeys mists from the color add on!
and the gorgeous pin!

Scraps Of Darkness and SOUS!

I am really lucky that I can combine my DT duties from Scraps of Darkness with
the awesome sketches from SOUS!

This week the sketch was right up my alley! LOTS of luscious layers which worked perfectly with the papers from this months SOD kit!

I love the black and blue color color combo!
I sprayed the doilies with the mists from the color add on!
I also fussy cutted the title from one of the papers!

I also tucked a couple of the prima cards under the photo (credits to breaultography)

and here is the wonderful sketch!
