Sorry I have not updated lately!  It is a crazy time of year!  but I do love it!  The anticipation, the kids getting anxious, the smiles on peoples faces....

I wanted to share some more layouts I created with this months kit from the Flying Unicorn!

I LOVED the Tereasa Collins Vintage Findings in this months kit!  The paper is perfect for layering and the embellishments are awesome.  Here is one about our youngest.....

In the kit was also some Anna Griffin papers......perfect for this photo of my dad and his great grandson....a precious photo.  Maggi hosted a challenges this month to use poetry on your page and I love this poem

There was also a few sheets of Cosmo Cricket.... talk about a versatile kit!  This is my sister in law and her granddaughter!

Also this month The Flying Unicorn sponsored CSI color challenge blog.....VERY cool site and IC reated two layouts for it....The first one used Riddersholm papers and my Grandfather

The next one I used Glitz Designs papers and Manor house flowers.....this is our oldest....I must admit I love the way it turned out

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you all have an awesome day!

hi everyone!  I hope you are all having a wonderful day!  This months kit was ful of gorgeous papers and a too fun OTP!  Lets start with my OTP

I stared at my OTP for a day....I LOVED it but to tell the truth I was a little worried...the ladies on this incredible team ALWAYS rock the OTP!  I wanted to stick with teh Christmas theme so I created this
DSCF0897
I had some Christmas picks which I glued on, added the word 'JOY' and used gold and red glimmer mist on the Kaiser wood stars (you can find them at the Unicorn store) and voila I have a a Christmas display for my wall!

I also had fun creating with the Authentique peaceful line that had papers in this months kit!  Awesome line
The first one I created I layered a few of teh papers, distressed the edges, used the brink stencil -available at the store - and some texture paint from my stash and made some splatters for Tammy's challenge this month!  Before now I had not tried this technique but man I love the results!  I added the prima bird, the corner bling and the canvas flags all from the kit!

Also in this kit were some papers I was coveting....the Tereasa Collins Vintage Findings....wow gorgeous stuff!  The papers are fabulous and so are the embellishments....  I LOVE the gold accents!
I inked all the edges of the papers, folded over the corner on one of the papers (I used a ot of hot glue to keep it from letting go) and added the corner bling.  I also used the Vintage finds Border Strips to create a couple of rosettes and I altered the Vintage Finds Paper Flowers into my own flower!

The Anne Carlsen Center is dedicated to “Nurturing abilities. Changing Lives."

Dr. Anne Carlsen, our namesake and former administrator, believed in the worth of every individual. Throughout her life she exemplified strength and nurturing, advocating for individuals with disabilities, and teaching them how to advocate for themselves, while creating a life of independence.

The Anne Carlsen Center offers a rich tradition of educational, residential, therapeutic, evaluation, and community-based services. Our individualized services include care for individuals — and families — of all ages with cerebral palsy; orthopedic, vision and hearing disabilities; autism, pervasive, and other behavior disorders; and other medical acuities.

The Center’s education program provides students with a safe, secure and loving atmosphere in which they can learn and grow. The Center is approved and accredited through the ND Dept of Public Instruction as a K-12 school.

The Student Council consists of a team of Anne Carlsen students dedicated to helping their fellow peers, classmates and friends. Student Council fund raises throughout the year to help students pay for necessities such as clothing, shoes, winter gear, school supplies or other needs they may not have the funds to cover for themselves. Fundraising also provides a yearbook at no cost to each and every student at the Anne Carlsen Center.
